Liverpool manager Arne Slot wants Egyptian star Mohammed Salah to renew his contract with the club amid controversy surrounding his future.
Salah, whose contract expires in the summer has yet to sign a new deal with the Premier League giants.
Ahead of the Bournemouth’s clash, Slot insists Liverpool wants Salah to extend his stay at the club.
“All clubs want Salah, including Liverpool.. We want him to renew his contract with us.”
“It would be a surprise if someone said they don’t want Mohamed Salah.. He has performed amazingly for years, and he doesn’t need my advice to decide what is best for his career.. My advice will certainly be different from what the Saudi Minister of Sports said in his last interview (he hinted at Saudi Arabia’s desire to include Salah in the Roshn League).”
“I hope Salah makes the right decision for him.. and we hope that this decision will be in our best interest.”
Salah has been instrumental for the Reds this season, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists from 32 games across competitions.
