France international of Congolese heritage, Eduardo Camavinga, beleives they still have a chance to beat Arsenal.
The Spanish giants will host the Premier League side in the return leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Los Blancos suffered a 3-0 defeat in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium.
“We have to play a very serious game, attack and press. We need the madridistas as always because it’s going to be a great match. I’m looking forward to that day,” he told the microphones of the club’s official television.
“We need the support of the madridistas, it’s going to be a great match and we’re going to win as always. We need all the madridistas in the world,” he added.
Camavinga highlighted the importance of the win against Alaves, keeping a clean sheet, to change the bad dynamic after a draw and two consecutive defeats, before facing Arsenal.
“Today is very important because we have a big game and it’s good for our confidence. We played a very serious game which is good for us for Wednesday,” he said.
“I’ve been scoring a lot of goals in training for a week now, my father always tells me to enjoy myself and I’ve been able to do that. I’m very happy for the victory and for the goal because I’m not scoring a lot. It gives me more confidence,” he said.
Kick off is scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
