A member of Zamalek’s planning committee, Hazem Emam, has indicated that the club wants to do everything to win the 2025 Egypt Cup.

Speaking to Zamalek TV, Emam said, “We hope to end the current season by winning the Egypt Cup. I haven’t spoken to the players about this matter yet, due to the difficult period that has witnessed many matches in the league championship.”

He added, “Ayman al-Ramadi and his assistants are making great efforts during this period, having accepted the mission during a difficult period.”

The 2025 Egypt Cup is scheduled to be played on Thursday, June 5,  between Pyramids FC and Zamalek.

Hazem Emam wants the leadership of Zamalek to have a change of mindset heading into next season.

“We respect the Zamalek board of directors, who are the ones running the club. We need to change our mindsets to build the next season in the best possible way.

“Our vision as a planning committee is to appoint a sports director for the club and a full-fledged contracting committee. We are working to establish solid foundations for the club, regardless of who the names are. We are also working to fully develop the youth sector, which is important to us,” Hazem Emam.
