Galatasaray Vice-President Abdallah Kavukcu has asserted that the club has the financial capacity to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, or any other player they target.
Osimhen, who joined the Turkish champions on a season-long loan from Napoli after being sidelined by the Italian club, has quickly established himself as a key figure for the Turkish powerhouse.
The 25-year-old forward has made an immediate impact, netting eight goals and providing four assists in just nine appearances.
His performances have sparked discussions about a permanent move to Galatasaray, with reports suggesting the club is willing to offer Napoli €50 million for his signature.
However, the deal could pose a financial challenge for the Turkish side, given the combined cost of Osimhen’s transfer fee and wages.
Kavukcu is adamant that the club has the financial strength to pursue any player they desire.
“If Galatasaray wants a player, we will be at that table. Galatasaray has the power to make the right transfers at the points determined by our coach. We have the power to buy more Osimhens,” Kavukcu said, per Forza Cimbom.
