Renaissance Berkane is charging toward a historic season, with coach Moine Shaabani steering the Moroccan side closer to the CAF Confederation Cup title after already clinching the Moroccan Premier League.
The team’s sights are now set on continental success, with just two matches separating them from the final. Shaabani’s squad is brimming with ambition, ready to tackle the challenges ahead.
Speaking to Al-Riyadhiya TV, Shaabani said: “We have a clear plan and unchanged goals since the beginning of the season, which is to compete at all levels. The dream of winning the league shield was achieved early on, and we are now two steps away from the Confederation Cup final, and we are starting to feel the dream of the continental title.”
The Tunisian coach added: “We need to overcome the barrier of Algeria’s CS Constantine in the semi-finals, which is a derby that we will prepare for properly. The players are confident, and this group has a strong desire to achieve a historic season.”
Shaabani concluded his remarks by saying, “We are still in the Throne Cup race, so we may be able to achieve one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history if we remain realistic and humble, and make more sacrifices.”
