Ittihad Tangier coach Hilal Al-Tayyar says the playing body, fans and the technical team are eager to play matches at the Grand Stade de Tangier.
Hilal Al-Tayr is preparing for his third consecutive season, having narrowly secured their survival in previous seasons..
With the 2025/26 football season set to take off soon, Al-Tayyar is hoping they return to the home ground.
“This magnificent stadium is very appealing to us,” he told Kooora. “After spending several seasons away from Tangier, we longed to play on our home turf in front of our fans in the grand stadium.
“It is truly a masterpiece, an icon that Morocco will be proud of in the Africa Cup of Nations finals. Whoever plays in it is lucky.
“Our fans are exceptional and will provide tremendous support and encouragement for us. We are confident that our competitors will struggle against us in this stadium,” he added.
