Barcelona’s young star Alejandro Balde believes his team has what it takes to make a deep run in the Champions League.
The 20-year-old fullback has been a crucial part of the squad this season and remains confident in their ability to go all the way.
“We are never afraid. If we have come this far it is because we have a good chance,” Balde said. “We are alive in all competitions and we have to keep fighting. Surely we can make a beautiful Champions League.”
Balde emphasized the squad’s determination and focus, insisting that their journey so far proves they can compete with Europe’s best. He also expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of facing Real Madrid on the biggest stage.
“It would be a very special final. Everyone would want to see it. I hope it happens.”
Reflecting on Barcelona’s recent dominance over their rivals, he added, “Lately we have had many results in our favour, we have beaten Real Madrid very well.”
Balde has featured in 23 La Liga matches this season, providing three assists while solidifying his role as a key player.
