RS Berkane playmaker, Yassine El-Bhiri, has hinted that they are aiming to win a treble this season.
The Moroccan side, after winning the Botola Pro 1 over the weekend, clinched the CAF Confederation Cup, beating Simba SC on a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.
Berkane will also compete in the African Super Cup, but will discover their opponent after the CAF Champions League game between Pyramids FC and Mamelodi Sundowns.
“My happiness is indescribable. I am part of a wonderful club by all standards,” Al-Bahri told Kooora.
“Playing for Berkane makes me feel like I’m at a professional club that leaves no room for doubt or complacency. The titles we’re reaping now are evidence of the team’s meticulous planning.”
“We won the Moroccan league, then the Confederation Cup, and we’re still competing in the Throne Cup. Our plans and goals go beyond the treble, so why not the quadruple? We’re promised later, God willing, the CAF Super Cup. This season will remain historic and etched in our memory,” he added.
