Egypt, already qualified for the play-offs of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, concluded the group stage with a brilliant 4-2 victory over Guinea on Tuesday. Despite initially conceding an own goal, the Pharaohs bounced back, capitalizing on Guinea’s numerical disadvantage for almost a half (Kamil Zayatte was sent off). Egypt finished the group stage with a perfect record of 18 points from 6 matches. Abou Treika marked his 100th selection with a penalty goal in the game.
