The two matches delivered early goals, missed chances, and tense finishes that kept fans on edge.
Wadi Degla earned a 3–2 home win over Ghazl El Mahalla at Al Salam Stadium in Cairo in a match that exploded into life from the opening minute. Ivorian forward Jimmy Mwanga put Mahalla ahead in the first minute, but Tunisian defender Saif Teka quickly leveled for Degla in the 8th minute.

Mahalla had a golden chance to reduce the deficit when Ahmed Shousha missed a penalty in the sixth minute of first-half stoppage time, only for Abdel Rahim Omouri to follow up and score the visitors’ second goal.
The result lifted Wadi Degla to 23 points, moving the club into fourth place under coach Mohamed El Sheikh and strengthening its push in the upper half of the table. Ghazl El Mahalla, led by coach Alaa Abdel Aal, remained on 16 points and slipped into 14th place, keeping the pressure on in their fight to climb away from the lower positions.
In Alexandria, Ismailia Electricity claimed a 2–1 away victory over Haras El Hodood in another lively clash from the same round. The visitors started strongly, with Eritrean player Ali Suleiman opening the scoring in the 7th minute and Islam Abdel Naaim doubling the lead just three minutes later.
