Vincent Kompany praises Michael Olise after Bayern Munich hat-trick
Michael Olise gave Bayern Munich supporters another reason to admire him after scoring a hat-trick in the club’s emphatic 7-0 Bundesliga victory over Union Berlin on Friday.
The France international was the star of an outstanding team performance, repeatedly troubling Union’s defence with his movement, confidence and technical quality. His three goals completed a memorable evening and further underlined his growing importance to Bayern.
Vincent Kompany was delighted with Olise’s contribution, but the Bayern manager’s praise extended beyond what the winger produced on the pitch. He said the player’s personality and character were just as appealing as his footballing ability.
“Olise has everything to please,” Kompany said, describing himself as impressed by “both the man and the player.”
Olise’s display arrived during a comfortable victory in which Bayern controlled the match from the opening stages. The hosts combined sharp passing with relentless attacking pressure, leaving Union Berlin unable to cope for long periods.
The hat-trick also adds to Olise’s strong development since joining Bayern. He has quickly become one of the team’s most dangerous attacking players, capable of creating chances, beating defenders and finishing moves himself.
For Kompany, Olise’s latest performance offered further evidence that Bayern possess a special talent with an excellent attitude.
