Vincent Enyeama, the Nigerian goalkeeper, is set to become the first-choice goalkeeper for LOSC (Lille) in the upcoming Ligue 1 season. After returning from a successful loan spell with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, where he won the championship title, Enyeama impressed coach René Girard during the pre-season. As a result, Girard has decided to promote Enyeama to the position of the team’s number one goalkeeper for the upcoming season. This decision means that Steeve Elana will be relegated to the bench. Enyeama is expected to make his Ligue 1 debut for Lille on August 10 when they face Lorient on the first matchday of the season.
