Villarreal fight back to lead Napoli at half-time in UEFA Champions League

Villarreal have overturned an early deficit to lead Napoli 2-1 at half-time in their UEFA Champions League match on matchday two.

Napoli took the lead in the eighth minute through Amir Rrahmani, but Villarreal responded when Georges Mikautadze equalised in the 23rd minute. Santiago Mourino completed the turnaround three minutes later, putting the Spanish side ahead in the 26th minute.

Napoli created several opportunities after falling behind, including a header from Rasmus Højlund which struck the post, but the Italian side must find a response after the break.
