Victory for MC Alger’s amateur club in legal dispute against former administrators

Victory for MC Alger's amateur club in legal dispute against former administrators

The management of MC Alger’s amateur club, led by President Mohamed Khaldi, has announced a significant legal victory in a dispute with former administrators who contested Khaldi’s legitimacy as the club’s president.

Mohamed Khaldi was appointed in January this year, heading a team that includes Vice President Taher Belkhiri, Boualem Kab, Nasser Bouiche, Ibrahim Boudeyaf, and Mohamed Belkacem.

The appointment faced opposition from several former administrators of MC Alger, who questioned the legitimacy of Khaldi and his executive team during the transitional phase. This dispute led them to file a lawsuit seeking to nullify Khaldi’s appointment.

In a statement released on Monday, MC Alger’s amateur club management revealed that the administrative court had ruled in their favor.

“The administrative court has today issued its judgment regarding the complaint filed by former administrators against the team, seeking to nullify the legitimacy of the current executive office and its president, Mohamed Khaldi,” the statement read.

The statement further emphasized, “This court decision is a triumph for legitimacy against parties attempting to destabilize the club and revert it to chaos.”

The club’s management reaffirmed their commitment to fulfilling their responsibilities within the legal framework.

They highlighted that legitimacy is also derived from dedication to serving and defending the club, pointing to the recent positive results across various branches, the strong return of fans to the stands, the trust of different partners, and the sincere efforts to honor MC Alger’s colors.
