Victor Osimhen to consider Chelsea move next summer

Osimhen8

Nigerian football sensation, Victor Osimhen is reportedly considering a potential move to Chelsea at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Currently on loan from Napoli, Osimhen is spending the season with Turkish champions Galatasaray. The prolific striker has made an immediate impact in the Turkish Super Lig, scoring six goals and providing three assists in just eight appearances.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea remains a strong contender for Osimhen’s signature, with the player open to exploring opportunities in the Premier League.

Speaking to bettingexpert.com, Di Marzio revealed that while Saudi clubs have also expressed interest in the 25-year-old, Osimhen is focused on finishing the season before making any decisions about his future.

“I know that a club in Saudi Arabia wants him,” Di Marzio shared and added, “They are prepared to buy him from Napoli and bring him back at the end of the season. However, Osimhen doesn’t want to sign now. He wants to wait and see if Premier League clubs make an offer.”

Besides Chelsea, a lot of the elite European clubs have been linked with a possible summer move to secure the services of Victor Osimhen.
