Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected a fifth offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
As reported earlier by AfricaSoccer, the offer submitted by the club to the player was estimated at an annual salary of €40 million, in addition to €5 million in bonuses.
Al-Hilal had also reportedly reached an agreement with Napoli to trigger Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.
However, some reports indicate that the 26-year-old wants to stay in Europe. Osimhen recently completed a successful loan spell in Turkey where he played for champions Galatasaray.
In Turkey, the Super Eagles sensation scored 37 goals and contributed eight assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.
The Nigerian international is currently under contract with Napoli until the summer of 2026 and has made it clear that his immediate ambition is to continue playing in top-tier European competitions.
Checks have revealed that despite rejecting the fifth offer from Al-Hilal, Osimhen could still be convinced to join the Saudi club this summer.
