Victor Boniface unfazed by failed Al-Nassr move, focused on Leverkusen glory

Victor Boniface remains undistracted by the whirlwind of transfer speculation after his proposed move to Al-Nassr collapsed at the last minute.

The Bayer Leverkusen star, instrumental in his club’s Bundesliga triumph, had reportedly packed his bags before the Saudi side opted for Colombian forward Jhon Durán instead.

Despite the dramatic turn of events, Boniface remains committed to his current club. “What will happen in the future will happen, but at the moment I only think of helping Leverkusen to achieve our goals,” he stated.

The Nigerian forward acknowledges the nature of transfer rumors but insists his focus is unwavering. “It is always flattering when big clubs show interest, but my focus is currently 100 percent on Bayer Leverkusen,” Boniface affirmed.

With the second half of the season underway, Boniface is determined to make an impact. “Every game is a chance. I want to contribute goals, templates, and energy for the team. I just want to stay fit, continue to play, and improve,” he added.
