German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart are reportedly looking at recruiting two Egyptian teenagers.
Sources have noted that the teenagers include Belal Attia and Hamza Abdel Karim.
According to BILD, Stuttgart have shown strong interest in 17-year-old Belal Attia, a standout talent from Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
Attia, who plays regularly for Egypt’s U17 national team, was named the best player at the 2024 UNAF U17 tournament.
In a promising development, Stuttgart have already extended an invitation to Attia for a trial.
The young midfielder is expected to be in Germany from July 27 to August 2 to train with the team and get acquainted with the club environment.
A decision on his future will be made following the assessment of his performance during the trial period.
In addition to Attia, Stuttgart are also reportedly monitoring another Al Ahly prospect, Hamza Abdel Karim.
The 17-year-old striker is said to be on the club’s radar, though BILD notes that no official contact has been made yet.
Both Egyptian talents could be signed this summer for a chance to open a new chapter of their careers in Germany.
