VfB Stuttgart join race to sign French-Ivorian forward Ange-Yoan Bonny
German club VfB Stuttgart have joined the race to sign France-born forward of Ivorian descent Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The Bundesliga club is considering securing the services of the in-demand striker who is reported to have agreed a move to Italian giants Inter Milan.
It is reported that the 21-year-old forward, currently on the books of Parma, is set to sign a five-year contract with Inter, which will run until June 2030.
The agreement is reportedly worth €2 million per season, excluding performance-related bonuses.
While personal terms with the player are already in place, Inter are still negotiating with Parma, who value Bonny at €20 million.
An earlier attempt to include youngster Pio Esposito in the deal was rejected by Inter.
Instead, discussions are now focused on Sebastiano Esposito, who recently returned from a loan spell at Empoli. He is valued between €7–8 million, potentially lowering Inter’s cash outlay for Bonny to around €12–15 million.
Although Inter Milan are leading the race to sign Bonny, Stuttgart want to push to beat the Italians to the signature of the attacker.
