John Utaka, 31, is reportedly in talks with Bursaspor as he nears the end of his contract with Montpellier. The Nigerian striker, appreciated by coach René Girard, could potentially join his compatriot Taye Taiwo at the Turkish club. Bursaspor, who finished fourth in the previous season, is also reportedly interested in securing the services of Florent Malouda.
On the other hand, the pursuit of Cédric Carrasso seems to have come to an end for Bursaspor. The former Marseille goalkeeper, currently under contract with Bordeaux, is expected to extend his contract with the Girondins.
