The management of USM Khenchela has announced its decision to increase ticket prices for upcoming matches.
The club, affectionately known as “Al Siskawa,” aims to address its financial woes by ensuring that its loyal fans can continue supporting the team, albeit at a slightly higher cost.
In a statement released on Monday, the management emphasized its commitment to sustaining the club’s operations by allocating 200 million Algerian dinars to prevent fans from being deprived of the opportunity to attend future matches.
However, this move comes with a trade-off as ticket prices will be adjusted to assist the team in overcoming its financial hurdles.
Furthermore, the club’s bank account has been frozen by former president Osmani, with allegations pointing towards his intentions to plunge the team into obscurity.
Quoted in the statement, USM Khenchela’s president, Walid Boukruma, expressed the management’s frustration, stating, “We have worked tirelessly to bring the team to its current level.
We strive for further progress and will not allow anyone to exploit or undermine the team.”
Boukruma underscored the severity of the financial challenges, urging solidarity and support from all stakeholders.
He emphasized the importance of standing united behind the team, especially considering the formidable nature of the league and the intensity of each match.
