Senny Mayulu is a name that’s making waves in the football world, and it’s one you’ll likely hear more often in the coming years. Born on May 17, 2006, in Le Blanc Mesnil, France, to Congolese parents from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the 17-year-old midfielder has been dazzling with the PSG youth teams and is now poised to make his mark among the pros. The Franco-Congolese prodigy honed his skills at the club’s academy in the French capital, showcasing his prowess with both the U17s and U19s. Particularly with the U19s, he proved indispensable for PSG during the Youth League this season.
#2 Senny Mayulu’s Professional Debut in January 2024 Mayulu’s stellar performances in the Youth League, including a crucial goal against AC Milan in October 2023, caught the eye of Luis Enrique.
At the end of 2023, the budding talent earned a call-up to the professional squad at PSG’s behest.
On January 7, 2024, Mayulu made his professional debut in the Coupe de France against Revel, with PSG securing a resounding 9-0 victory.
His breakthrough continued in the competition’s round of 16 clash against Orléans on January 20, 2024, where he netted his first goal among the pros. Subsequently, he made his Ligue 1 debut on March 17, 2024, against Montpellier, coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute.

As PSG prepared to face FC Barcelona in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League on April 10, Luis Enrique opted to rotate his squad for the encounter against Clermont at the Parc des Princes.
In a pivotal moment for the young talent, Mayulu earned his first start in midfield alongside Manuel Ugarte and Carlos Soler.
Despite his tender age and the need to prove himself among the seasoned pros, Mayulu has attracted attention from numerous clubs, both in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.
Valued at €1 million by Transfermarkt, his contract with PSG is set to expire in June 2024. Throughout the season, the Parisian gem has showcased his potential, featuring in 25 matches and contributing 5 goals and 5 assists.
