Tickets have gone on sale for the international friendly between United States men’s national soccer team and Senegal national football team scheduled for 31 May showdown in Charlotte.
The fixture, part of both teams’ preparations for the FIFA World Cup, was confirmed earlier and organisers announced on Wednesday that supporters can now purchase seats for the encounter.
Prices range from $65 (36,000 FCFA) to $75 (41,000 FCFA), opening access to fans eager to attend the meeting between the two national sides.
The match forms part of Senegal’s extended build-up programme ahead of the global tournament.
The African side will first play friendly matches against Peru national football team and Gambia national football team in March before concluding preparations in June against the United States and Saudi Arabia national football team.
For the Senegalese squad, the meeting in North Carolina represents another high-profile test against international opposition as they continue their competitive build-up schedule.
The announcement of ticket sales effectively marks the start of the event’s build-up, with organisers expecting supporters from both nations to attend the match in significant numbers.
