UCL: Randal Kolo Muani nets brace for Tottenham in 5-3 defeat to PSG

France forward of Congolese descent, Randal Kolo Muani bagged a sesational brace for Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night when the team suffered a 5-3 defeat to PSG in the UEFA Champions League.

The attacker was involved from the start, creating Tottenham’s opener after 35 minutes with a clever headed pass that set up Richarlison to nod home.

PSG responded just before halftime when Vitinha unleashed a superb strike from outside the box, finding the top corner to level the score.

Kolo Muani struck again early in the second half, picking up the ball in the area and firing a shot that deflected past Lucas Chevalier to restore Tottenham’s lead.

PSG, however, quickly turned the contest around. Vitinha equalised with another stunning finish after stepping past his marker and curling the ball into the far corner.

Fabian Ruiz then put the hosts ahead with a powerful drive into the bottom corner, before Willian Pacho reacted quickest in the box to extend PSG’s advantage.

Tottenham were handed a lifeline when a defensive error allowed Kolo Muani to pounce and score his second of the night, reducing the deficit and keeping the visitors in the game.

But PSG sealed the result minutes later as Vitinha completed his outstanding night with a confident penalty.

Despite the defeat, Kolo Muani’s brace stood out as the highlight of Tottenham’s performance, showcasing his sharpness and composure on one of Europe’s biggest stages.

He will be key for the English outfit as they turn attention to their upcoming English Premier League fixture against Fulham.
