Ousmane Dembélé delivered a dazzling performance on Wednesday night, netting a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 4-1 victory over Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League.
PSG took the lead early when Bradley Barcola found himself unmarked in the box and powered a header past the goalkeeper in the sixth minute. Dembélé then took center stage, scoring his first in the 17th minute with a composed finish into the bottom right corner after a well-timed pass inside the box.
The French attacker, who has Malian roots, doubled his tally in the 35th minute with a stunning strike into the top left corner before completing his hat-trick in the 54th minute. This time, Achraf Hakimi provided the assist, and though Dembélé’s shot wasn’t the cleanest, it still found the top right corner.
Stuttgart managed to pull one back in the 77th minute when Chris Führich connected with a pass inside the box and fired into the bottom right corner, but it was little more than a consolation as PSG sealed a dominant win.
