Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson netted his first goal for Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, helping the team to secure a massive 5-1 victory against Pafos in the UEFA Champions League.

Bayern started the game brightly and broke the deadlock in the 15th minute when Harry Kane finished off a neat move after being played through by Michael Olise. Just five minutes later, Jackson turned provider, setting up Raphael Guerreiro to double the lead.

Jackson then got his name on the scoresheet in the 31st minute, capping off superb build-up play by Olise before firing past goalkeeper Neofytos Michail for Bayern’s third.

Kane added his second just three minutes later with a solo effort that left the defence in his wake, putting the German champions 4-0 up by the half-hour mark.

Pafos pulled one back before halftime through Mislav Orsic, who struck a sensational long-range effort into the top corner, leaving Manuel Neuer rooted to the spot. But Bayern restored their four-goal cushion in the second half when Olise pounced on a rebound in the 69th minute to seal the 5-1 win.

After scoring his first goal for his new club, Nicolas Jackson will be motivated for more in the upcoming games.
