Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen scored twice on Wednesday night, powering Galatasaray to a 2-1 victory against Fenerbahce in the Turkish Cup quarter-finals.
The Super Eagles superstar started the mouthwatering encounter for his team, leading the lines as the arrowhead of the attack.
After just 10 minutes into the first half, the highly-rated striker pounced on a loose ball inside the box and fired an unstoppable shot that hit the back of the net to give Galatasaray the lead.
Later in the 27th minute, Galatasaray were awarded a penalty kick, and Victor Osimhen stepped up from 12 yards.
Although Fenerbahce goalkeeper Irfan Egribayat dived the right way and got a hand to the strike, he could not keep it out.
Before halftime, Sebastian Szymanski equalised to pull one back for Fenerbahce, giving the hosts hope to get back into the game.
Unfortunately, Fenerbahce could not push for a second goal in the second half and had to settle for defeat at full-time.
With his two goals on Wednesday night, Victor Osimhen has powered Galatasaray into the Turkish Cup semi-final.
