Two clubs in Turkey are working to sign Finland midfielder of Sierra Leonean descent, Glen Kamara, this summer.
The 29-year-old, who joined Stade Rennais last summer, is among several players expected to depart after failing to impress in his debut season in France.
Kamara moved to Rennes from Leeds United for €10 million but struggled to make an impact, registering just 13 Ligue 1 appearances in the first half of the campaign. He was subsequently loaned to Al-Shabab in January, with an option to buy included in that deal.
It remains unclear whether Al-Shabab will activate the option, but L’Équipe reports that the midfielder is more likely to return to Rennes. However, even if he returns to Brittany, he is not expected to remain at the club.
With his contract running until 2028, Kamara has attracted interest from both Besiktas and Samsunspor, who have already made enquiries.
Sources have revealed that two clubs in the Major League Soccer (MLS) are also interested in signing Glen Kamara this summer.
