Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has revealed an exceptional reward for the best player in the upcoming final match between Al Ahly and Zamalek in the Egypt Cup for the 2022-2023 season.
The eagerly anticipated showdown between Al Ahly and their arch-rivals Zamalek is scheduled to take place at the “Al-Oul Park” stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 8.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Turki Al-Sheikh wrote: “The prize for the best player in the cup match will be worth $50,000, provided by the Riyadh Season.”
Earlier today, Monday, Al-Sheikh announced an additional financial reward of $500,000 for the team emerging victorious in the Egypt Cup final.
It’s worth noting that Al Ahly secured their spot in the Egypt Cup final after defeating Enppi with a resounding 3-0 victory in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Zamalek advanced to the same stage after eliminating Pyramids in a penalty shootout.
