The curtain falls on the group stage of the African Champions League with the sixth and final round of matches set to take place, on Friday, and Saturday.
Six teams have already secured their spots in the quarter-finals, namely Egypt’s Al Ahly, Tanzania’s Young Africans, Angola’s Petro Atletico, Ivory Coast’s ASEC Mimosas, Congo’s TP Mazembe, and South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, two seats remain undecided, with tense encounters set to decide their fate.

All eyes are on the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Tunis as Tunisia’s Esperance Sportive de Tunis hosts Sudanese giants Al-Hilal in a crucial clash in Group C.
Meanwhile, Tunisia’s other representative, Etoile Sportive du Sahel, faces Petro Atletico in the same group.

In Group B, Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca are embroiled in a fierce battle with Tanzania’s Simba SC for the second qualification spot.
Leaders ASEC Mimosa have already secured advancement, leaving Wydad and Simba to fight for the remaining berth.
Wydad hosts ASEC Mimosa, while Simba faces Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana, with the Moroccan side hoping for a victory coupled with a surprise result in the Simba match to secure qualification.
Al Ahly Aims for Top Spot
Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly aims to secure the top spot in Group D as they face Young Africans, with both teams having already booked their places in the next round.
Meanwhile, Algeria’s CR Belouizdad hosts Ghana’s Medeama SC in a match with little significance in terms of qualification.
Mamelodi Sundowns vs. TP Mazembe Showdown
In Group A, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa hosts TP Mazembe of Congo in a thrilling encounter to decide the group winner.
Both teams have already secured qualification, but the battle for top spot remains fierce, with Sundowns needing a two-goal victory to secure first place against the Congolese giants who won the first leg 1-0.
