Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi takes a temporary break after Kaizer Chiefs departure
Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi has decided to a take a break from coaching following his departure from South African outfit, Kaizer Chiefs.
Nabi, who managed to end the Soweto giants ten-year trophy drought mutually parted ways with the club on Wednesday, bringing an end to his spell at the club.
In a statement, the Tunisian gaffer confirmed his exit from Kaizer Chiefs, while he takes a short break to focus on his family, particularly his unwell wife.
Despite attracting interest from clubs in Africa and Asia, Nabi has decided to take a break from coaching.
“My departure from Kaizer Chiefs was a mutual decision with the club’s management after a successful and challenging spell. Right now, I need time to rest, focus more on my family, and look after my wife’s health, which has required my presence in recent months.
Several major African and Arab clubs have reached out to me, but I do not intend to enter into negotiations, as my current priority is a temporary break and some rest,” Nabi said in an interview with North African outlet WinWin.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently third on the South African Premier League table with 13 points after six matches.
