Tunisian forward Mohammed Ali Ben Hammouda suffered an injury that forced him to leave today’s match against Club Sportif Tunisien.
Portuguese coach Miguel Cardoso confirmed in his statement to Diwan FM that Ben Hammouda’s injury appears to involve the lateral ligaments of the knee.
Ben Hammouda is expected to undergo an extended period of rest pending further examinations.
It is worth noting that Tunisian club Esperance Sportive de Tunis secured a victory today against Club Sportif Tunisien with a scoreline of two goals to nil.
