For his debut as head coach of the Tunisian national team, Georges Leekens has unveiled the squad that will face South Korea on Wednesday, May 28 in Seoul.
Leekens took into account performances in continental cup matches when selecting his players. Notably, he did not include any players from Club Sportif Sfaxien, Esperance Sportive de Tunis, or Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
Aymen Abdennour makes a return to the squad after missing the World Cup play-off second leg against Cameroon.
The Tunisian squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Farouk Ben Mustapha, Atef Dekhili, Hamdi Kasraoui.
Defenders: Aymen Abdennour, Selim Ben Djemia, Bilel Mohsni, Hamza Mathlouthi, Yassine Mikari, Mohamed Ali Yaakoubi, Syam Ben Youssef, Ammar Jemal.
Midfielders: Fabien Camus, Houcine Nater, Zouhaier Dhaouadi, Chedi Hammami, Anis Ben Hatira, Wahbi Khazri, Khaled Korbi, Wissem Ben Yahia.
Forwards: Sami Allagui, Saber Khalifa, Issam Jemaa, Hamza Younes.
