Tunisia goalkeeper Zied Ghanmi returns to US Tataouine on free transfer
Tunisia goalkeeper Zied Ghanmi has joined US Tataouine from AS Kasserine on a free transfer, returning to the club he previously represented. The 35-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028.
Ghanmi completed the move on 31 August 2026 after two seasons with AS Kasserine. He joined that club from Rogba Tataouine in August 2024, also on a free transfer, and now returns to US Tataouine as an experienced option in goal.
The 1.88m goalkeeper was born in Beja and plays with his right foot. His career has included spells with several Tunisian clubs, including Olympique Beja, Jendouba Sport, ES Jerba and Dahmani AC.
Ghanmi’s previous spell at US Tataouine began in January 2019, when he moved from Jendouba Sport. He later left the club for ES Jerba on loan in August of that year before returning to Tataouine at the end of the 2019-20 season.
He subsequently joined Olympique Beja, where he was part of the side that won the Tunisian Cup in the 2022-23 season. Ghanmi moved to Rogba Tataouine in September 2023 before switching to AS Kasserine the following year.
His return gives US Tataouine a goalkeeper with experience across Tunisian football and a previous connection with the club. Ghanmi’s new contract keeps him at US Tataouine until the end of June 2028.
