Tunisia coach Sami Trabelsi is eyeing a positive results against Liberia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia takes on Liberia in the fifth round of the qualifiers on Wednesday.
And Sami Trabelsi has set sights on securing a positive results as they seesk to secure qualification to the mundial.
“The Liberia match is important for us, and we are seeking a positive result from the match.” He continued: “We are facing a very respectable opponent, and I hope our players are ready at all levels.”
“We faced Liberia before, when they had big players like George Weah, and we qualified for the 1998 World Cup,” Trabelsi added.
“Matches in Liberia are always difficult because of the climate and the pitch, in addition to the support the Liberian team enjoys.”
He concluded: “We will work on changing some things on the tactical level, despite the short period we have been working in, but technology in football allows the coach to overcome some obstacles in terms of time”
