Tunisia’s national football team coach, Ruud Krol, has revealed a list of 26 players selected for the first leg of the World Cup play-offs scheduled for October 13. Notable exclusions, such as Youssef Msakni, were justified by Krol, who stated, “I can’t call 35 or 40 players. So I tried to call on those who were in the best shape.” He acknowledges the difficulty of the upcoming match against the Indomitable Lions but remains optimistic, stating, “Our task promises to be very difficult but our chances exist! In football, all matches start at 0/0 so anything is possible.” Krol emphasizes the need for balance, indicating they won’t solely defend but won’t play excessively attacking football either.
