TS Galaxy registration ban lifted after FIFA Clearing House issue resolved

TS Galaxy can now register and use their full squad after FIFA lifted a ban that had restricted the South African club’s ability to add players.

The Rockets had finished the 2025/26 campaign knowing they had been sanctioned by football’s world governing body. Their priority was to settle the administrative problem before the new season began, and the issue has now been resolved.

The club’s registration restriction was not linked to unpaid wages or compensation owed to a player. TS Galaxy have previously faced FIFA sanctions over outstanding payments to foreign players who had taken legal action, but club chairman Tim Sukazi said this latest case concerned a delay involving FIFA’s administrative system.

Galaxy head coach Parker was able to name from his complete squad for the first time this season in Tuesday night’s 3-2 victory over Marumo Gallants at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

“Yes, finally the monkey is off our back with regard to the player registration ban we had in a matter that had nothing to do with any amount owed to a player,” Sukazi said.

“It was due to the delay in the onboarding of our club in the FIFA Clearing House system. We are just delighted that we are now fully accredited with the FIFA Clearing House and are able to use our full squad complement.”

The resolution gives the club greater flexibility while the transfer window remains open until 21 September. Galaxy are now able to consider further activity in the market and could look to strengthen their squad for the rest of the campaign.

The ban had limited the club’s options at the start of the season, but its removal means they can now approach the remainder of the campaign without the same registration restriction. The Rockets will also be able to operate more freely away from the pitch as they continue their season.

Sukazi’s comments confirmed that the matter was caused by the delayed onboarding of TS Galaxy into the FIFA Clearing House system rather than by a financial dispute with a player. The club is now fully accredited with the system and has regained access to its entire squad complement.

The development will be particularly significant for Parker, who was able to select his full group against Marumo Gallants after being unable to do so earlier in the campaign. Galaxy’s win at Royal Bafokeng Stadium came as the club moved beyond the administrative uncertainty that had followed them from the previous season.

TS Galaxy were not the only South African club to resolve a FIFA registration issue. Chippa United have also settled their dispute with Burkina Faso international Ronald Sanou, resulting in the lifting of their registration ban as well.
