Thierno Barry continued his outstanding run of form with two goals and an assist as Everton fought back to beat Coventry 3-1 in the 10th round of the Premier League on Friday.
Everton were trailing early in the second half after Yann Gboho put Coventry ahead in the 52nd minute. Barry responded just four minutes later, meeting the ball with a well-placed header to bring the Toffees level.
The 24-year-old struck again five minutes later to complete the turnaround and put Everton in front. His influence did not end with his two goals, as he later helped secure the result for his side.
Barry supplied a fine assist for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the 81st minute, allowing Everton to extend their lead and seal a 3-1 victory.
The forward now has 10 goals and three assists in all competitions, underlining his strong start to the season and establishing him as one of Everton’s key players.
Barry, who previously played for Villarreal, is under contract with the Toffees until 30 June 2029. His current valuation is €35m.
Everton’s next Premier League fixture will come in the 11th round of the English top flight, when they face Brentford.
