After a prolonged period of uncertainty, Arafat Djako has finally secured a new club. The Togolese international completed his move to FC Dacia Chisinau, a club in the Moldovan first division currently occupying the 4th position. This signing was officially announced by the club on its website. Djako, aged 25, joins from Bnei Sakhnin in Israel.
The former Anzhi Makhachkala striker has signed a two-year contract after successfully completing a trial period with the club. He will join another Togolese compatriot in Moldova, defender Gafar Abdoul Mamah, who has been with FC Dacia Chisinau for four years.
Arafat Djako’s previous clubs include Hapoel in Israel, Gaziantespor in Turkey, Al Arabi in Qatar, among others. In 2012, he was loaned to Inter Baku in Azerbaijan from Anzhi Makhachkala due to a lack of playing time.
