Prince Oniangué, currently representing Congo in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, has confirmed that he has signed a three-year contract with Stade de Reims in the French Ligue 1. This move marks a transition from Tours in Ligue 2, where he played 28 matches in the previous season, scoring 9 goals. Oniangué’s contract with Tours had reached its conclusion, and he is now set to join the top-tier French football league.
Before his time with Tours, the midfielder had experience in Ligue 1, having played six matches with Rennes. Oniangué began his career at Rennes, where he was trained, and he also had a loan spell at SCO Angers during the 2009/10 season.
