Kana-Biyik Set for Toulouse Switch
Cameroon international Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik is set to join Toulouse, ending his spell at Rennes where he had fallen out of favour.
The 25-year-old defender, who was in advanced talks with Evian Thonon Gaillard earlier this month, has instead opted for a move to Téfécé. He is expected to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Kana-Biyik, a product of Le Havre’s youth system, joined Rennes in 2010 but was no longer part of manager Philippe Montanier’s plans. With only six months left on his current contract, the move offers him a fresh start in the south of France.
