On loan to Dynamo Kiev, Taye Taiwo may be set to explore a new football league next season.
Reports from the Russian press suggest that Rubin Kazan is close to making an offer to AC Milan for the acquisition of the Nigerian left-back.
Since his departure from Olympique de Marseille in the summer of 2011 to join AC Milan, Taye Taiwo has struggled to secure a regular spot in the lineup. Following a stint in the Premier League on loan to QPR (15 matches, 1 goal), the Nigerian international moved to the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev, where he has played in 24 matches. However, Dynamo Kyiv has yet to exercise the purchase option it holds.
If Rubin Kazan follows through with its intention, as reported by local media, Taye Taiwo could potentially join former Rennes player Yann M’Vila, who joined the Russian club during the winter transfer window
