Pascal Chimbonda, the 33-year-old right back and former French international, is attempting a trial with the Chicago Fire. Chimbonda, who has been a free agent since leaving Doncaster in the summer, has previously played for clubs like Le Havre, Bastia, Wigan, Tottenham, Sunderland, Blackburn, and QPR. Despite being selected only once for the French national team, Chimbonda is now looking to convince Chicago Fire of his abilities during the trial.
