Hadi Sacko has officially left Bordeaux to join Sporting Portugal in a transfer valued at €1.4 million.
The French youth international, trained at Bordeaux, had been eager for a move and finally secured his departure on Thursday evening. Despite his potential, Sacko had been loaned out to Le Havre last season and wasn’t central to coach Willy Sagnol’s plans.
This move represents a fresh start for the versatile winger, who is looking to relaunch his career in Portugal’s top division. For Bordeaux, it’s an unplanned offensive loss that likely won’t be compensated by a replacement in the short term.
