Juventus Prioritizes Keeping Pogba and Vidal, May Let Llorente Leave
Juventus is reportedly prepared to take drastic steps to retain two of their prized midfielders, Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal, even if it means selling striker Fernando Llorente.
According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Turin club is exploring options to keep both Pogba and Vidal amid growing interest from top European teams. The club’s management is willing to part ways with Llorente to safeguard their midfield assets.
The Spanish forward has been a reliable contributor this season, netting 18 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions for Juventus. However, despite his solid performances, Juventus appear ready to let him go to make room for retaining Pogba and Vidal.
This potential move reportedly does not sit well with coach Antonio Conte, who values Llorente’s presence for the upcoming season. Nevertheless, if a transfer materializes, Llorente could have several attractive destinations. Atlético Madrid is reportedly interested, considering him a potential replacement for Diego Costa, while Barcelona is also said to be monitoring his situation.
For Juventus, Paul Pogba remains a non-negotiable player, viewed as a cornerstone for the club’s future ambitions. The club is determined to hold on to the young French midfielder at all costs, underscoring his importance in their plans.
As the transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Juventus to see how they balance squad changes and the challenge of keeping their top talents intact.
