André Ayew’s Marseille Contract Expiring: Inter Milan Eyeing the Ghanaian Forward
André Ayew’s future at Olympique de Marseille is uncertain, with his contract set to expire this summer. If he decides to leave the Vélodrome, several clubs are ready to pounce, including prominent suitors from Italy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter Milan, under the guidance of coach Roberto Mancini, is one of the clubs showing strong interest in the Ghanaian forward. Inter’s owner is reportedly ready to invest around 60 million euros to bolster the squad and build a more competitive team next season. The report also highlights that Ayew’s father, the legendary Abedi “Pelé” Ayew, is scheduled to meet with Milan’s sporting director Piero Ausilio to discuss potential terms.
In addition to Ayew, Inter Milan is also reportedly looking at other high-profile players, including Real Madrid’s Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Giovanni Simeone, the son of Atlético Madrid’s coach Diego Simeone.
Ayew’s potential move to Italy could be a significant step in his career as he looks to join a team with high ambitions, especially with Inter Milan aiming to strengthen their position in Serie A.
