PSG and Real Madrid among clubs tracking Burkina Faso’s Tapsoba

Several of Europe’s leading clubs are reportedly preparing moves for Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba, as interest in the Burkina Faso international gathers pace ahead of the next transfer window.

The 27-year-old centre-back, who has become a central figure in Leverkusen’s defence, is said to be on the radar of some of the continent’s biggest names.

According to Fussballdaten, reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain, Champions League record holders Real Madrid, as well as Manchester United and Liverpool are all monitoring his situation.

The renewed attention follows earlier reports linking Tapsoba with Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.

The growing list of suitors suggests the defender could become one of the most sought-after players when the window opens.

Tapsoba has spent more than six seasons in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, establishing himself as a consistent presence at the heart of the club’s back line.

Signed from Vitória de Guimarães, he has developed into one of the Bundesliga side’s key performers.

Leverkusen are understood to be aware of the mounting interest and would be open to a potential departure, despite Tapsoba remaining under contract until 30 June 2028.

His long-term deal places the German club in a strong negotiating position, should formal offers be made.

With multiple top clubs reportedly in contention, competition for the defender’s signature is expected to be intense. As the transfer window approaches, Tapsoba’s future is set to become one of the prominent stories of the European market.
