Trabzonspor are willing to convert Nigeria international Andre Onana’s loan move into a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The former Ajax and Inter Milan shot stopper completed a season-long loan move to Trabzonspor after falling down the pecking order at Manchester United.

Onana struggled for minutes at the begni2025/26 football campaign, fueling his move to the Turkish side in the summer window.

According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor are eager to keep André Onana in the squad long-term, viewing him as a key player for the club’s future.

Meanwhile, his loan move to Trabzonspor does not include a purchase option, making a permanent switch tough.

Negotiations between the clubs are expected to start closer to the end of the season, when both the team’s and Onana’s performances become clearer.

So far, the Cameroonian has featured in four matches for the Turkish side, keeping one clean sheet and registering an assist in the clash against Gaziantep.
