TP Mazembe asserted their dominance over Congo’s Eagles with a resounding 3-0 victory, reaffirming their position at the top of the leaderboard.TP Mazembe showcased their formidable prowess in the championship, securing a decisive win against the Eagles of Congo during the 6th day of the Playoffs. The Ravens took an early lead in the 7th minute, with captain Glody Likonza delivering a stunning header that soared past goalkeeper Israel Mubobo, putting TP Mazembe ahead 1-0 at halftime.

In the second half, TP Mazembe maintained their momentum, gradually increasing the pressure on the Eagles.

Fily Traoré seized the opportunity to extend their lead, scoring his first goal of the Playoffs in the 70th minute, amplifying the Ravens’ advantage to 2-0.

The icing on the cake came from Patient Mwamba, whose thunderous strike from 25 meters out, guided by Boubacar Haïnikoye’s precise assist, found the back of the net, sealing TP Mazembe’s victory at 3-0.

With this commanding performance, TP Mazembe reclaimed their leadership position in the championship, amassing an impressive 15 points, ahead of Maniema Union with 13 points.

The victory not only consolidates TP Mazembe’s position at the summit but also underscores their relentless pursuit of excellence in the competition.
