Following the unsuccessful face-to-face meeting between Nabil Bentaleb’s father and the Algeria coach, the president of the Algerian Football Federation, Mohamed Rouaraoua, has taken the initiative to meet the player. This meeting is expected to occur at the beginning of next month, with Rouaraoua aiming to persuade Bentaleb to join the Algerian national team for the 2014 World Cup. Despite being courted by the English and French national teams, the 19-year-old midfielder remains a notable player for Tottenham Hotspur, playing in the midfield alongside Moussa Dembélé under manager Tim Sherwood.
